About Kevin

Kevin Patterson began performance poetry in 2003 at Essenza Coffeehouse as a way to improve (self-admitted) unnecessary verbose writing. Excited by the dramatic improvement that reading poetry out loud can do to ones writing Kevin quickly began reading at many of the poetry events throughout the valley. In this 2003-2005 period some of the major regular events were Livingstone’s, hosted by Divine, Jacksons on 3rd hosted by Jazzy, Extreme Bean hosted by Mr. Fripp, and the Willow House hosted at that point by Stephen G Roy.
