Announced in November of 2008, the Great AZPoetryPedia Contest was announced by Anthology, Inc. and intended to drive the page views of the site to 30,000 before December 31st, 2008. As a secondary goal, the contest is intended to drive updates to the site.

RESULTS: The site ended at 23,835 page views for 2008.

Prizes

The contest offers:
- Five copies of Compact Discs of recent Mesa national Poetry Slamoffs as Prizes.
- One "Poetry Doesn't have to Suck" T-Shirt.


Rules

- Within the Recent changes portion of the site, each entry by a member provides them with one entry into a drawing to be held January 2nd, 2009. Five winners will be drawn.
- The scope of the changes must be legitimate, and contest organizers reserve the right to determine if an entry qualifies to receive an entry in the drawing.
- Any actions taken with the obvious intent to inflate change credits can result in the user being omitted from the contest altogether.
- Each legitimate change to a page creates a new entry, thus, a user can earn several entries in a single session by working on multiple pages.
- A user can earn an unlimited number of entries, so long as each change in legitimate.
- Users agree to abide by terms of service for the site.
- Contest organizers reserve the right to modify rules or terms, and users should check here for the most recent updates.
- The site must hit 30,000 page views for the drawing to be held.

Time Frame

Only changes from November 10th, 2008 until December 31st, 2008 are eligable for being counted for entries.
