What can you create articles about?

Really, you name it... Start by seeing what the most recent changes have been. Or, look at some of the categories and the pages within, and add something of your own, either by creating a new page or by adding to one of the existing pages. Write an article about a specific poem. However, please don't put the poem into the article unless you have obtained permission of the author or rights holder to do so. And If you have obtained their permission, please note that following the poem, by typing the date permission was obtained and the name of who gave you permission. It can be a poem written by an Arizona writer, or a poem about Arizona, but it should have an Arizona connection.

Write and article about a venue. Got a venue that hosted (or hosts) poetry events that would fit? The venue should be in Arizona.

Write an article about a poet. Got a favorite poet that lives/lived in Arizona? Start an article for them.

These are just some of the opportunities, including Poetry Forms, one really great poetry show, etc.

How to Get Started

The best way to start is to do a search for what you are interested in. Most likely, it won't exist, and there will be a link for you to create a page featuring that content. Here is a great article in Wikipedia on how to format your posts. Wikipedia Article on Formatting Posts

Even if the article already exists, can you add to it?

Yes. at the top of the page will be an "edit" link, and that will bring the page text up with an in-browser editor for you to add your contribution.

Some pages are protected, they are usually pages that serve specific purposes (like this one).

Please Help Anthology, Inc. with AZPoetrypedia

Since we started this site on July 4th, 2008, we have received literally thousands of page views. This has put a strain on our existing server network (our server celebrates it's 10th birthday next year, BTW), and we could use an upgrade.

Nothing fancy schmancy, mind you, but something designed and built a little closer to 2008 :). So, please consider a visit to the Donations area (in the navigation bar to the left), and make a tax-deductable donation to Anthology, Inc.

We'll keep you posted on our progress.

Thank you for your support.
